WORK IN PROGRESS...

FARMING IN THE FLOOD
Today's Farmers Safeguarding Tomorrow's Water

Co-director and presenter Nick Viney, and myself are working with our funders to make a film about flooding resilience in farming. Set in Dartmoor, a landscape where we both grew up, we are trying to tell the stories of farmers who are already doing work to mitigate flooding in their own communities and, by showcasing this work, we hope to inspire more local landowners and managers to use available funding to do this work.

FarmKind

Working with the co-founders on their new YouTube Ads to reach out to a niche of potential donors who care about animal suffering in factory farms but are not willing to make a diet change.

The University of Exeter

I have made one short film on the legacy of Gertrude Bell for the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies and a series of shorts for the BlueAdapt project, all under the banner of the Univerity of Exeter

SAILCARGO INC.

Living in a rural shipyard in the mangroves, I joined Sailcargo first as a Filmmaker to capture the build of their 36 meter tall ship, before later becoming the Media Manager, producing all documentary and marketing video content and managing all social media. I also worked with their associated non-profit, Astilleroverde, producing content.

Preston Street Films

During my time with PSF I received a comprehensive training in a broad spectrum of pre- to post-production skills, including camera operation, planning and initiating solo shoots, editing projects, conducting and consolidating research, and drawing up proposals for clients such as the BBC, Exeter University, and local councils and charities. I also made this film for them about the City in which they are based.

Camera Operator Work

Fighting For The Underdog

I joined the team at One Kai to help in interviews and B-roll for their new film, Fighting for the Underdog, a documentary that follows the story of the spurdog, a small species of British shark, through the eyes of its stakeholders.

KELP!

Working on this film with a great team of skilled people, I acted chiefly as Camera and Drone Operator but using my skills in diving and sailing to facilitate the filming of some of  the best marine life and coastal climate action the UK has to offer.
